Laredo, Texas (May 9, 2023) – Killam Development announces its sponsorship of the State of Transportation & Infrastructure event during the 2023 Economic Development Week in Laredo. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 9th, from 11 am to 1 pm at the Falcon Executive Conference Room at the Harold R. Yeary Library at Laredo College.
As part of Economic Development Week, the State of Transportation & Infrastructure event recognizes the important initiatives and trends in economic development that generate excitement and improve the economic well-being of our community. Humberto “Tito” Gonzalez, Jr, P.E., TxDOT Director of Transportation, Planning, and Programming, will deliver the keynote speech.
Rolando Ortiz, Chief Operating Officer at Killam Development, will also deliver a few words on behalf of the company during the event. Killam Development is committed to supporting initiatives that promote economic growth and development in Laredo and the surrounding region.
The 2023 Economic Development Week in Laredo is part of a national celebration that recognizes the contributions made by professional economic developers to create more economically vibrant and livable communities. The Laredo Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is hosting an array of events, including a Proclamation Day, an Annual Entrepreneur and Small Business Development Forum and Award Ceremony, a Membership Spring Mixer, and a Shop Local Initiative.
